Here at Watchman’s an excellent temperament is a must! Then we strive on producing correct Bullmastiffs that are sound, with plenty of substance, size, and a typey square head. Even though we desire large bodies with big bones, we incorporate a Bull Mastiff that still moves well. Our Bullies are an outcome of generations of health free dogs, but we do test our Bullmastiffs to insure that they are clear of any health issues.
We are not sure how others got interested in breeding their dogs and becoming breeders. Our decision came after many hours of thought. Seeing all the love that our puppies brought others, and knowing the love that our dogs bring those that see them. We felt it was the right thing to do to raise more great dogs to impact people’s lives in the positive way they have impacted ours. English Mastiffs are a great breed, and our English Mastiffs are great representatives of the breed. So we became what we never thought we would be, a breeder.
English Mastiffs are all we raise. We live on a farm and have plenty room for them to run around.Our goal is to raise puppies with great temperament and sound bodies.We like the “true” mastiff look and strive to breed for that look. We do allow potential buyers to come to our home and see how we raise them. All puppies are AKC litter registered. They go to their new homes Vet checked ,wormed and with up to date shots given by our vet.
I have great mentors who are Bullmastiff breeders and will always seek advice regarding my dogs. My husband helped his father, a veterinarian and a breeder of Miniature Schnauzers for greater than 20 years. We have a clear understanding of acceptable breeding programs and regard the animals and their offspring as our main responsibility.
